Clarinet Cache – the blog and the column of the same name in the world’s premiere clarinet magazine ‘The Clarinet’ (the official publication of The International Clarinet Association), lists Jingle Bells as one of their favorite YouTube picks in the selection that is conducted each year and already established as a popular sight for must-seen clarinet videos. Commenting on the video, the authors praise Mihael’s smooth sound and polished technique while sparing no compliments for the ‘unique arrangement’ itself. Aside from being published only in the very last week of the year, the fact that says much about its viral effect, this is the first time ever that a Croatian clarinetist has been featured by Clarinet Cache. Considering the amount of videos published in each year – the staggering number of more than 50,000 of them – the insertion into the top ten represents quite a remarkable achievement.
