On the national Vidi Web Top 100 – 2005 contest www.mihaelpaar.com has been nominated in the categories of science, education & culture and fashion, entertainment & music. The annual national online contest lead by the computer magazine VIDI together with the Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK) and in partnership with the Croatian Academic & Research Network (CARnet), stands alone as the most important Croatian Internet contest which featured more than 1500 URLs in the last addition only. Awards are given in ten separate categories while the evaluation criteria includes implementation of advanced web services and applications, the quality of presented material, frequency of maintenance, the speed of loading, intuitivism of users interface and navigation solutions, visual component, as well as the level of functionality of respective web. In each of the ten categories, the best site will be determined and in within those ten the best one will be chosen which will, together with the best of the best of other categories, form the absolute top ten of Croatian web. The organizer is obliged to announce the results by December 31, 2005 at the latest.
