Masterclasses

Mihael Paar conducts two masterclasses each summer. First of them takes place in the first half of August in the town of Trogir which is instated on the UNESCO’s World Heritage List since 1997. Apply now here!

The second masterclass is held in late August in Mihael’s hometown of Samobor and spans during a course of a week-time. Known by the name Youngmasters, this meticulously elaborated Summer School & Festival features various programmes for its attendances. Aside from individual classes, clinics, chamber music, concerts, etc. participants are offered recreational events to help them leisure during the School as well to get familiar with the town and its unique cultural sights. The participants may also be invited to perform with the Samobor String Quartet at the Closing-gala of the School. Furthermore, the organizer has foreseen prizes for the most successful clarinet participants chosen by the School committee. The prize consists of an invitation to appear as a guest-performer at the Gala-event ‘Youngmasters Excellence’ held in one of Zagreb’s selected concert halls in the following year. Apply now here!
