Premiered Works

With special drive and passion Mihael Paar maintains close relations with Croatian contemporary composers and has either commissioned, premiered or championed some of their finest pieces. The collaboration resulted with the list of new works mainly in the field of chamber music, including those featuring the basset clarinet.

In addition, alone or with other musicians, Mihael has also premiered most of his own works, notably his Clarinet Concerto Movement, Clarinet Quartet Movement, Espressivo e Allegro For Two Clarinets & Bassoon, Little Christmas Fantasy For Clarinet Solo as well as his arrangements of Chopin’s Etude Op.10 No.2., Mozart’s Alla turca and Happy Birthday To You. He has also been the first to introduce to the Croatian audience works by Austrian composers Müllenbach and Willi, Polish Szostak and Spisak, Russian Rosenblatt, Spanish Brotons and American Hyman.
